First Postdoc Team Awarded at UZH

The newly established Postdoc Team Award allows UZH to recognize outstanding interdisciplinary research. The inaugural award has gone to two teams conducting research on topics that are highly relevant to society.

The new UZH Postdoc Team Award recognizes interdisciplinary postdoctoral teams for their outstanding and independent scientific achievements. The two winning teams are developing innovative approaches in healthcare research, such as linking pupil size to stress resilience or exploring what social media posts may reveal about our mental health.

UZH’s research development committee selected the winners of the inaugural award in December 2022. The award is worth CHF 15,000, funded through a generous donation by a UZH alumnus to the President’s Fund of the UZH Foundation.
