Young people who have all the qualifications except the financial means are often denied the chance of a higher education. To provide access to education and promote equal opportunities, the University of Zurich makes scholarships available – and relies on donations to make this possible.
Many students have the skills and motivation to complete their studies, but lack the financial resources to do so. By staying on an academic path despite this lack of support, students often face a significant burden. However, if talented young people decide against an academic career, great potential may be lost.
When sources of funding such as family support, cantonal scholarships, or loans are exhausted or unavailable, UZH scholarships are there to help.
