Unlocking the Potential of Digitalization

With its Digital Society Initiative (DSI), the University of Zurich has positioned itself as a leading European hub for exploring and shaping the digital revolution. By creating 18 professorships in the area of digitalization, UZH has sent an important signal to the rest of the world. The new professorships bridge the gap between traditional subject areas and the realm of information technology. The digital revolution is unfolding at the intersection of various spheres of life, which is why research into digitalization is always highly interdisciplinary. The UZH Foundation supports the DSI by acquiring funding from the private sector.

Your Support
The University of Zurich’s financial resources can only cover the faculties’ most basic need for specialized knowledge on digitalization. To be able to explore new subject areas, e.g. interdisciplinary questions about democracy, ethics, the working world and future healthcare provision, the University of Zurich is dependent on additional third-party funds. As a donor, you can help shape the digital future of Switzerland.
